This process creates a covalent bond that fixes the antimicrobial into the fabric permanently giving the long-lasting protection required, making public environments safer. Shieldplus provides the highest level of protection against microbes and its antimicrobial technologies are fast acting, safe and durable against a broad spectrum of bacteria and viruses, including Coronavirus. The beauty of this fabric is that it is also wipeable, meaning regular cleaning of the seat tops can take place during an event, which adheres to organisers sanitation regulations and it won’t damage the seat tops.
